It is not the first time I speak of happiness . It is a word that I always have in mind and determines every act of my life. And lately I’ve been thinking about what could be the keys to happiness – and reading a lot about this.
We all know that happiness is not given by money, or possessions, or even success. None of that will bring us happiness . No matter how much we earn, no matter how much we have in the bank, no matter the quality of our clothes or cars or toys, none of that will make us happier. And the sad thing is that, for some people, it may take decades of searching for wealth and luxury before realizing this.
So what will bring us happiness? I have come to the conclusion of these three keys. Luckily, there are three things that cost nothing.
1. Quality human relationships.
We have a human need to relate to other human beings. Having good , supportive friendships , a solid relationship and having a loving and intimate connection with our family members will make us much happier.
How to get it? Spend time with your loved ones , actively listen to them and develop your relationship with them. Learn to communicate with them assertively, practice empathy and forgiveness . Be generous and grateful .
2. Have a positive attitude.
You know that I am a great defender of the positive attitude. Optimism and self-esteem are some of the best indicators of people who lead a happy life. Happy people feel capable of achieving anything and feel in balance in their lives.
How to get it? I already told you 20 tricks to be a positive person , although the key is to make positive thinking a habit. In fact, I think it should be one of the first habits to develop. Acquire the habit of crushing all negative thoughts and replacing them with positive ones. Instead of “I can’t” think “I can.” It may seem difficult at first, but from experience I know that it is gradually achieved.
3. Put passion on everything.
We are so immersed in our daily routine that we lose track of time. There comes a time that we do things that do not lead us to anything, we are with people who do not contribute to us, we lose the spark of life … This life of automatons does not help us to be happy.
